Jamie Burke

The reason I would like to be a senator for the College of Arts and Sciences is because I want to be a representative of my fellow college classmates and express their views and concerns to the SGA. By being a Senate member, I believe my positive impact can show students that they have a say in their education and in the decisions made regarding their time and their future. The same passionate drive and dedication I have for my academic studies would be directed toward my position as a senator. As a liaison between my fellow students and SGA, I would pass legislation that is in the best interests of the students, especially those in the College of Arts and Sciences. During my time serving as a senator I would strive to bridge the gap between senators and students.
