Ever since high school I have been fascinated with the Student Government Association. I was president of the SGA at my high school. Throughout my years at the University I have always tried to participate in the SGA in some way. I have always been in an SGA committee. As a junior, I feel like now I have a better understanding of the SGA and would like to take my involvement to the next level. I am proud to announce my candidacy for Nursing Senate, and I hope that I can fulfill not only the expectations of my position, but the overall expectations placed on the SGA at the University of Alabama.
