My primary objective in running for the position of Vice President for External Affairs is the effective enhancement of the safety, well-being, and participation of the Student Body in the city of Tuscaloosa and beyond. In essence, I wish to reinforce Tuscaloosa as a second home to all Students, and I intend on implementing policies, programs, and initiatives that will greatly enrich the quality of life for the Student Body at the Capstone.

To accomplish these responsibilities, I pledge to develop further communication with Tuscaloosa officials in areas involving city governance, employment, and law enforcement, while simultaneously working to expand the benefits that Students both give and receive from the surrounding community. The Students here at The University of Alabama are very important and contribute greatly to Tuscaloosa, and we should continue to maintain and improve our close involvement with the affairs of the city. As your Vice President for External Affairs, I will work tirelessly to bring to light Students’ opinions as well as to implement multiple new policies that will successfully improve the quality of life for all of the Students who are proud to call some part of Tuscaloosa, in some way or another, home.
