In running for SGA senate for the College of Engineering I hope to represent the student body in the college and bring about improvements to its department. I believe I am strongly qualified for this position, as I have held many leadership positions in the past; as well I am very involved on and off campus. I also believe that because being in this college for over two years I am qualified to understand the problems it has as well as working my best to fix them. I believe that student organizations should be co-operating with one another as well as co-coordinating events that include the involvement of multiple of these organizations so that we create a sense of unity within the department and with each of the separate organization. I also believe some improvement needs to be done within the Freshman Engineering program as well as reaching out to high school seniors; I believe there exist a lack of information to a lot of high school seniors about the program. I hope to accomplish these improvements and many more and look forward to working with the SGA in order to improve student life.
